MIT.nano community meetings Dec 10-11

MIT.nano will open in the summer of 2018. As the physical foundation of MIT.nano is starting to take shape outside our windows, we are ready to begin to define the activities that will form the intellectual foundation of this remarkable facility. Join us at one of two community meetings on December 10 and 11 to hear about opportunities for engagement with MIT.nano.

MIT.nano community meetings

December 10, Thursday
2:30–3:30pm
Room 26-100

December 11, Friday
10–11am
Room 1-190

MIT.nano will support our education, innovation, and research pursuits on nanoscale phenomena, materials, devices, and systems. From the size of an atom up to hand-held objects, MIT.nano will enable us to imagine, explore, design, and test our work at many scales. What tool sets should this central facility house? What educational paradigms should it advance? What partnerships should it develop? How should it enhance our campus ability to innovate and deliver impact? Join us to learn how you can inform and shape MIT.nano.

The event will start with a brief update on the progress of MIT.nano construction.

The MIT research community will help define the future of nanotechnology. Come join the conversation.
