The NEMO User Meeting brings together shared facility leaders, lab managers, and technical staff from institutions using or exploring NEMO, an open-source platform for managing shared research infrastructure.
Building on the 2025 meeting, the 2026 gathering will focus on how facilities are evolving to meet growing demands in access, training, data, and operations. Participants will share real-world implementations, discuss challenges, and explore opportunities to improve and extend NEMO across diverse environments.
The meeting is designed to foster open exchange, strengthen connections across institutions, and shape the future direction of the NEMO ecosystem.
About NEMO
Developed at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), NEMO streamlines logistics and communications for the lab while providing a centralized hub to manage tool reservations and user access. The free and open-source NEMO platform is designed to be highly customizable and includes a robust plugin architecture to enable further extensibility.
Northeast Microelectronics Coalition (NEMC)
NEMC is part of the Microelectronics Commons program, a network of regional technology hubs, including the NEMC hub, acting on a shared mission: to expand the nation's global leadership in microelectronics.
