Fab-12 gowning area update

Here are some updates on the Fab-12 gowning area:

New PC in gowning room
There is now a PC in the gowning room that you can use to run CORAL. Hopefully tihis makes things easier. Use it to check/engage hangers or tools. The login is the same as other PCs in Fab-12: Username:  .\mitnano  and no password. The .\ is important as it tells Windows it’s a local account on the PC, and not a Kerberos account.

Labels on hangers
Each unused hanger now has a small piece of tape above it at the beginning of the week (read more in last week's update). When you start using your hanger, write your name on the tape and stick it behind it. That way, it makes it easy to find your hanger when you return from the lab.

Do not put your garments in the hamper
Hang them on a labeled hanger instead. We pull them every Monday morning for laundry. Hanging the garments helps us more easily understand how the space is utilized, plan for garment usage, and avoids potential waste.

For example, right now there are roughly 20 boots, 8 suits, and 12 hoods in the hamper, and the quantity mismatch suggests people are sharing suits and/or wasting hoods.

Please try to observe the gowning area density limits of 2 people max.
It’s easy to miscount as people are often hiding (unintentionally) behind the gowns. If you enter and it turns out there are 2 or more people inside, please backtrack and wait. New reminder signs are on the door to help. We encourage staff and users to remind each other as needed.
