The Koch Institute Nanotechnology Materials Core Facility is hosting Optics11 for a 30 min seminar. Optics11 makes fiber optic-based nanoindentation systems designed to measure the local viscoelastic mechanics of soft samples by performing nondestructive single indentations or generating maps of surface properties. The technology is sensitive and easy-to-use by researchers from all backgrounds (from biologists to mechanical engineers).
