UGIM Abstract Submission

The UGIM 2022 Symposium (https://ugim.mit.edu) will be held June 23-26, 2024, at MIT.nano in Cambridge MA

The UGIM symposium brings together operators, mangers, and administrators of, primarily, university facilities involved in micro/nanotechnology fabrication and characterization from around the world. It provides a forum for exchanging information over a wide range of topics. Representatives of shared facilities, spanning from new labs to nationally and internationally recognized entities, have found this symposium an excellent forum for learning and networking. Typical topics include industry/university interactions, new equipment trends, best practices, collaborative research, and training efforts.

Topics of interest traditionally include:

  • Safety
  • Staffing
  • Financial administration
  • Operations
  • Growing your facility
  • Education and training
  • New facility startup
  • Managing mixed use facilities
  • Interacting with your administration

Your presentation topic does not have to fit into the above categories, we only mention them here as guidance - based on previous talks and topics covered at UGIM.

Submission Deadlines

We will stagger the review of abstracts into early & late abstracts, to facilitate planning and reduce the burden on the program committee.
