Abstract

This presentation will review recent published developments in advanced imaging technology research. In particular, the talk will focus on complex camera design hierarchies enabled, or assisted by, computational techniques. By use of specific case examples, we will discuss goals of imaging R&D including modifications to the traditional camera parameter relationships between performance, SWaP, etc. Unique imaging constraints will be examined by comparing existing solutions to ongoing research. This talk is accessible to both experienced and novice practitioners.
