Abstract
There are many flavors of additive manufacturing / 3D printing, each with their own uses, pros, and cons. DLP photopolymer resin printing has found many good fits to date: dental, medical, prototyping, tooling, and (increasingly) manufacturing. Within each field, there are good-idea application and part design nuggets that hint at tomorrow’s possibilities.
The confluence of additive-only functional part design, near-isotropy, IM-quality surface finish, functionally robust material properties, broad geometric capability, and fast print times has enabled some cool and unique applications. In this talk, Stratasys representatives will present a few applications they've seen and hope to talk about some of yours too.
The seminar will give a brief introduction to the off-the-shelf capabilities and dive into some of the advanced features that the Open AM license provides—granular parameter configuration, per-layer and per-pixel control, and how to find and tune settings for previously unknown materials.
