MIT.nano's building management system (BMS) will get a major software upgrade on January 10, 2023.
Facilities will also be testing the fire alarms and carry out annual maintenance on the exhaust systems the same day. Because of a high chance of disruptions—exhaust pressure fluctuations, organized exits, annoying fire alarm sounds/flashes)—the fab will be closed for users on Tuesday, January 10, from about 6:00 a.m. to around 3:00 p.m. We may adjust this date depending on the final schedule.
More details will be provided later in December, when the schedules are finalized.
