Some of you have asked, "Why do we need to wear a full bunny suit if we only work in the class 1000/10,000 space of the MIT.nano?"
Well, now you have a choice! Lab frocks are back.
Starting Tuesday, September 8, we will launch the option to use blue lab frocks for the class 1,000/10,000 spaces in Fab-12. Each week, please choose either a frock or bunny suit for that week. We don’t want to end up with two hangers per person, as this would reduce the opportunity of others to use the lab.
Your options:
- If you work in only the class 1,000/10,000 space, you can use a frock, or a bunny suit.
- If you work in both the class 100 and the class 1,000/10,000 space, please use a bunny suit (so we only use 1 hanger per person, for now).
- Never enter the class 100 cleanroom wearing a blue frock. Always wear a bunny suit into the class 100 space.
We will add tacky mats and signage to allow entry into the class 100 cleanroom when wearing a bunny suit.
