Nanoscribe GT2 arrives at MIT.nano

The Nanoscribe GT2 was moved into MIT.nano on September 30. See photos of the tool's arrival and MIT.nano staff unwrapping it below! This is a mission-critical tool from Prof. Carlos Portela in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

The Nanoscribe GT2 uses Two-Photon Polymerization (2PP) to produce filigree structures of nearly any 3D shape. The tool will sit in the soft-lithography bay on the 3rd floor of the MIT.nano cleanroom.

A Nanoscribe team member will give two presentations about the tool and its capabilities on Tuesday, October 6. Fab users should check their email for Zoom login information.

More details to come in October and November as we start ramping it up and qualifying it.
