Through partnerships with AIM Photonics Academy, currently led from MIT, community colleges around the country are working with companies and research institutions to educate and train students for jobs in emerging technologies. Shawn Reese, seen here, worked on integrated circuits this summer as an intern at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and is now pursuing an engineering degree at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
